Remains of the Day, which was filmed in Powderham Castle. This Victorian era use of British castles wasn’t exclusive though. There are many English castles that have a feel of the middle ages and The staircase, hall, music room and master bedroom of the house were used as locations for the 1993 film The Remains of the Day.
